AirREX & John Toca Team Up At SEMA

It was a difficult task for us to keep this under wraps for so long.  But now with SEMA upon us, custom car builder John Toca of Toca Series Tuning Innovation has unveiled his version Scion FR-S in the creative and innovative style that only he knows.

John is just one of only three builders that was accepted to compete in this year's Scion Tuner Challenge at SEMA.  We are proud to be a part of John's creation, because when it comes to suspensions, John puts his trust in AirREX.

Here's an advance viewing of John's FR-S.

Sir Jac Is Bringing Old School Back

As car guys, we love new school, but we will always have a special affinity for old school.  I guess it's because you have to understand where you came from to know where you're going.  With the ever popular old school JDM imports, hot rodders, classics, motorcycles, and even OEM bringing back retro designs, we know that we all have that same love.

Photobucket

Here's an old school test.  You know you are old school if...you remember the clothing brand "Sir Jac".  Sir Jac is one of those things that epitomizes old school.  It was most popular among car and motorcycle guys back in the 60's and 70's for its rugged material (like a mechanic's shirt; guys wrenched on cars with it), flip up collar, and just all around good looking jacket.  Sir Jac also stood the test of time.  There's actually people who still wear their original Sir Jac jacket today.

Over the years, sadly Sir Jac did fade away, but it was never forgotten.  Fast forward to 2012, a group of guys stumbled upon the opportunity to revive Sir Jac and bring back everything that it stood for.

Today, ForjWorks is proud to announce we are teaming up with The Sir Jac Company to bring you the full line of Sir Jac jackets exactly like it was back in the day. ForjWorks is also excited to announce a clothing division called ForjWear, that will be bringing you all the cool apparel, like Sir Jac.

Best of Both Worlds: Performance & Height Control

You may have seen Tyler Wiliam's omnious Subaru STi lurking the pages of many websites and blogs, like AirSociety.net.  Now, it has made its way to the pages of Super Street Magazine (August 2012) edition.

Tyler's STi is simply one sick ride, and one of the things that stands out is how thorough and the amount of research he did to select the right suspension...

Is AirRex the easiest air ride system to install?

When we first installed the AirRex air struts and Digital Air Management System, our initial thought was that it was the most easiest and straight-forward install ever.  It took our ASE certified mechanic less than six hours to install an Audi A4 from start to finish.

For those of you who have installed an air ride system before, you know that it can sometimes take approximately 14 - 18 hours or more to finish.  In addition, when you can't work on the car continuously, it seems like days or weeks to get it done.

So we said to ourselves, maybe six hours was a fluke because we had an experienced mechanic install it so of course it's going to be fast, right?.  Well...meet Patrick Sayaphoum, the owner of Wagoners - Wagon Life Style website and blog.  Patrick got his hands on a brand new AirRex full digital system.  He admitted himself that he has no previous experience with installing an air ride system ever.  And these are excerpts from his own words...

Scion FR-S Air Ride Suspension by AirRex

One of the hottest cars out there now is the Scion FR-S.  We are excited to bring to you the first available air ride suspension for the FR-S by AirRex.

We know that the FR-S comes from a sport and racing heritage stemming from the iconic AE86, and AirRex suspension helps continue on with that legacy.  AirRex is not your typical air ride suspension, it's based on a coilover set up with makes height and ride adjustability very easy.  You can adjust for stiffness for racing and sport driving or ease up on the dampening for smooth highway driving.  AirRex suspension gives you the flexibility you need.

12 Clicks Adjustable Damper

A 12-way compression + rebound (together) adjustable damper is standard in every AirREX application. Each damper is matched to the air spring (bellow or sleeve) for the vehicle application and the user can further adjust for performance or comfort by the simple turn of a knob.

AirRex Audi A4 Slammed with Rotiforms

Freshly built and grabbing a lot of attention is Roger Ganotisi's B8 Audi A4.  Roger's ride is so clean and simple it just screams that less is more.

The suspension is none other than AirRex with full digital air management.  With just a push of a button Roger can jump from ride height to fully aired up to a slamming stance.
